Marketing Research Specialist

Position Summary

Reagan Outdoor Advertising is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Marketing & Research Specialist to support our Indianapolis sales team through market research, audience analysis, proposal development, and the creation of compelling marketing materials. This position plays a critical role in helping our sales organization communicate the value of out-of-home advertising through data-driven insights, impactful presentations, and market intelligence.

The ideal candidate will possess strong statistical and analytical skills, be proficient in interpreting audience and traffic data, and have the creative ability to transform complex information into persuasive sales and marketing materials. This individual will work closely with sales leadership, account executives, and corporate marketing resources to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Analytics

• Analyze audience measurement data, demographic information, traffic counts, DEC reports, and market trends.
• Develop market intelligence reports identifying opportunities for business development and competitive advantages.
• Prepare customer-facing impression analyses, reach and frequency reports, and audience targeting recommendations.
• Track and report on sales performance metrics, inventory utilization, and market share trends.
• Monitor competitor activity and provide strategic insights to sales leadership.
• Support forecasting efforts through data collection, statistical analysis, and reporting.

Marketing Material Development

• Create professional sales presentations, media kits, proposal materials, and marketing collateral.
• Design custom client presentations using audience data and location-specific insights.
• Produce one-sheet sales pieces highlighting billboard opportunities, digital capabilities, and audience advantages.
• Assist in the development of case studies, client success stories, and campaign recaps.
• Ensure all materials maintain brand consistency and high visual standards.

Sales Support

• Partner with Account Executives to develop strategic recommendations for prospective clients.
• Create pre-call planning materials and market research summaries.
• Support RFP responses and large-scale proposal development.
• Assist with campaign reporting and post-analysis presentations for clients.
• Work with operations and digital departments to ensure campaign information is accurately communicated.

Community & Industry Engagement

• Assist with trade shows, chamber events, sponsorship activations, and community outreach initiatives.
• Maintain databases of marketing assets, research materials, and audience data.
• Support the promotion of Reagan Outdoor's community involvement and market leadership.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business, Communications, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office 365.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and communicate findings effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience with advertising, media, market research, or data analytics.
• Knowledge of audience measurement platforms and demographic reporting tools.
• Experience creating professional sales presentations and marketing materials.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and reporting tools.
• Graphic design experience utilizing Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
