Mover / Labor Crew Member — Ready Set Move LLC
Ready Set Move LLC is a labor-only moving and services company based in South Bend, IN, serving South Bend and up to a 100-mile radius. We're looking for strong, reliable workers to join our crew.
Pay: $17.50–$20.00/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Hours are limited and based on bookings — when we're booked, you work. Flexibility and availability are important.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Loading and unloading moving trucks, U-Hauls, and U-Boxes
- Carrying and maneuvering furniture and household items, ranging from 25–200 lbs (with a team)
- Navigating stairs regularly — this job is physical
- Rearranging and placing furniture per customer instructions
- Working closely with your fellow mover as a two-person or more crew
What You Need:
- Physical strength and stamina — you'll be lifting heavy items all day
- Comfortable with stairs and tight spaces
- Reliable transportation to job sites (you drive yourself, at your own expense; if a ride is needed, pickup can be arranged)
- A team-player attitude and strong work ethic
- No experience required, but moving/labor experience is a plus
Important Notes:
- This is a labor-only position — we do not provide moving equipment (dollies, straps, blankets, etc.) or trucks. Customers supply their own equipment.
- You'll be working as part of a 2-person crew or more on each job.
