The Unit Support Coordinator:
- Handles clerical and specific administrative tasks for the nursing unit.
- Supports the efforts of the unit staff.
- Assembles patient records.
- Answers phones and patient calls.
- Orders and ensures delivery of supplies.
- Timekeeps via Kronos.
- Welcomes new patients and families to the unit.
- Answers call lights.
- Assists the unit leaders in disseminating pertinent information to the staff.
