Job Summary
A Pharmacy Technician:
- Assists the pharmacist in his/her professional responsibilities in providing pharmacy services
- Works under the direction of a licensed pharmacist
- Participates in the preparation, dispensing, distribution and return of patient specific medications including intravenous admixtures
- Supplies and maintains automated technology equipment
- Packages unit of use dosages
- Maintains and transports pharmaceuticals
- Performs tasks associated with regulatory compliance
- Documents activities as indicated and performs other duties as required

Qualifications
Education Requirements
- Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
- High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
Certification and Licensure
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required upon hire or within the first 12 months of employment
