Electro-mechanical Technician
Department: Manufacturing
Reports To: Mechanical/Electrical Coordinator
About the Role
We’re seeking an Electrician focused on control panel building and industrial wiring for complex baking equipment. This role is centered on assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control systems—both in panels and on-machine—ensuring safe, reliable operation.
What You’ll Do
Build and wire electrical control panels from schematics and layout drawings
Install and connect control components (relays, breakers, PLCs, terminals, VFDs, etc.)
Route and terminate wiring on equipment, ensuring proper separation of high/low voltage
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs
Test panels and systems using meters to verify voltage, continuity, and performance
Support PLC hardware installation and assist with basic troubleshooting
Apply electrical codes and standards (UL, CE, NFPA)
Assist with system startup and debugging
Follow lockout/tagout and all electrical safety procedures
What You Bring
High school diploma technical training in electrical or controls systems
3 years of control panel building or industrial wiring experience
Strong ability to read electrical schematics and panel layouts
Experience with electrical test equipment (VOM, ammeters, etc.)
Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting skills
Physical & Work Environment
Ability to stand, walk, and use tools throughout the shift
Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Work in a manufacturing environment with noise, moving equipment, and varying conditions
Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required
