Job Description:

We're seeking passionate and dedicated Special Instructors/Educators to join our team and provide exceptional early intervention services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays. As a Special Instructor/Teacher in our ABA Early Intervention program, you will work one-on-one with children ages 0-3, providing evidence-based strategies to help them achieve individualized goals and developmental milestones. You will also educate and guide parents/caregivers to ensure consistency and carryover between sessions, and collaborate with families, care coordinators, and other members of the care team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 intervention services to children ages 0-3 in home or community settings
• Use evidence-based strategies to help children achieve individualized goals and developmental milestones
• Educate and guide parents/caregivers to ensure consistency and carryover between sessions
• Collaborate with families, care coordinators, and other members of the care team
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation using a user-friendly electronic billing and case management system
• Manage and schedule your own caseload based on availability and preferences

Schedule:

• Sessions range from 30 to 60 minutes
• Frequency: As many cases as you like. Cases range from half hour to 20 hours.
• Flexible scheduling available

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Special Education from an accredited institution
• Valid New York State Teaching Certification (Birth–Grade 2 Students with Disabilities) (Required)
• At least 1 year of experience working with children ages 0-5 and their families (preferred)
• DOH (Department of Health) approval is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and complete documentation promptly
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
