The Role
We are looking for a compassionate and energetic staff to help support our small group. As staff you would help clients navigate their day through social interactions, fun activities, arts and crafts, games, time in the community and basic life skills.
Key Responsibilities
Skills: assisting with some daily living skills, helping with art projects, working on motor skills with puzzles and other tasks,
Community: Engaging in community outings. E.g. Library trips, Bowling, YMCA, Park trips and more.
Goal tracking: Helping work with the clients on the goal. documenting or reporting the daily progress.
Safe Environment: maintaining a safe and supportive environment tailored ti each client’s sensory and behavioral needs.
Qualification
Experience: No work experience required.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Requirement: Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
Benefits and Perks
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:15-2:45
Wage: $17.00
Free Time: No night shifts and no weekends. Closed on Major Holidays and if the Sheboygan school district closes for weather we close.
