What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Director position at Reach for Recovery?
Reach for Recovery has been providing substance use disorder treatment in West Michigan for over 54 years. We are a nonprofit agency committed to accepting all who seek our help, regardless of their ability to pay. We are looking for a passionate leader to help us continue to provide outstanding SUD service at our facilities in Holland and Grand Haven. This position reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for leading a team of MSWs, BSW's & Recovery Coaches who provide residential, IOP, and outpatient SUD treatment. Your responsibilities will include:
· Facilitate staff development and training
· Research, identify and implement best clinical practices.
· Develop and implement new services/programs.
· Perform, review, and evaluate Quality Assurance.
· Hire clinical staff with assistance from HR as needed.
· Orient and train new clinical staff to function effectively within the agency.
· Evaluate clinical staff annually and recommend changes in responsibilities and/or compensation.
· Develop/Revise agency policies and procedures to assure compliance with all clinical accreditation, licensing, and contract standards.
· Serve as a liaison with agency Medical Director and with other contracted clinical service providers.
· Model adherence to the highest standards of professional, legal, and ethical conduct.
· Serve as clinical lead for all internal or external audits and reviews.
· Assure staff competence through monitoring their completion of all required trainings.
· Interface between clinical and administrative staff to promote coordination and cooperation in carrying out agency procedures.
· Serve as a member of the agency’s Leadership Team.
Qualifications
· Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline.
· MI License (LMSW / LPC etc.)
· A minimum of 3 years’ post graduate experience providing therapy and/or clinical supervision.
· Achieved or working towards Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
· Achieved or working towards Certified Clinical Supervisor.
· Advanced knowledge of substance abuse symptoms, dynamics, pharmacology, and treatment methods.
· Demonstrated skill in supervisory practices and procedures.
· Valid Driver’s License, Auto Insurance, clean driving record, pass a background check & pass a drug screen (including drugs and marijuana)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
