Description
We are seeking a qualified, goal-focused, Business Development Assistant to join our firm. This is an essential position in our company and will play a significant role in converting business development initiatives into new business with focus on client satisfaction and revenue growth. This individual will be outgoing, dynamic, self-motivated and enthusiastic about working with customers and fellow peers.
- Field incoming calls for necessary action, feed contact into toe manager for BD follow-up
- Maintain a positive and professional business relationship with prospects and clients
- Gain insight into the customer’s organization, processes, and needs to better serve the customer
- Master the understanding of complex customer programs and requirements
- Be a champion at resolving customer complaints
- React proactively to idle issues impacting Business Development initiatives and customer satisfaction
- Prepare quotations and sales bids timely and accurately
- Collaborate with Operations, by acting as the customer advocate.
- Track orders and shipments
- Assist with administrative management, supplies inventory and storage as directed
- All other duties assigned by the VP of Business Development
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3-5 years of successful Business Development experience
- Effective use of informational systems (ERP, MS Word/Excel)
- Proficient in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken)
