We are launching a multi-year IVR Replacement Program to migrate our existing on-premise IVR (Nuance) to Genesys Cloud. This role sits at the center of a high-visibility, large-scale transformation impacting millions of customer interactions annually.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project IT Manager IV to lead the end-to-end delivery of the IVR migration initiative. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of cloud migration expertise, call center technology experience, and enterprise-level project leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn full project lifecycle delivery for the IVR migration from Nuance on-prem to Genesys Cloud.Build and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.Coordinate day-to-day work across business partners, architects, engineering teams, and third-party vendors.Ensure compliance with Duke project governance, reporting, and documentation standards.Identify, track, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and issues.Serve as primary communication bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.Lead delivery using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies where appropriate.Required QualificationsHands-on experience leading cloud migration initiatives—Genesys Cloud and/or Swampfox strongly preferred.Strong background in call center systems, IVR platforms, and customer experience technologies.Minimum 5 years as an IT Project Manager supporting enterprise-scale environments.Advanced knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project delivery frameworks.Proven ability to manage complex, multi-vendor projects.Excellent communication skills with demonstrated stakeholder management expertise.Preferred QualificationsPMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or other Agile certification(s).Experience with Nuance IVR, Genesys Architect, or similar tools.Prior work within regulated industries or large Fortune 500 organizations.Work ArrangementHybrid role – 3 days onsite per week at the Charlotte location.Occasional travel may be required for vendor or stakeholder engagements.Why This Role?This is a chance to lead one of Duke Energy’s marquee transformation programs.
