What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager / Estimator position at Rdu Paving, Inc.?

Responsibilities Include:
Estimating:
- Attend any Pre-Bid or customer meetings
- Analyze all plans, specs, and addenda
- Quantify site work items utilizing on-screen estimating software
- Gather material, hauling, and subcontractor pricing
- Respond to incoming customer requests as well as sell to new customers.
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals
Project Manager:
- Visit job site before mobilizing crews to verify subgrade, stone, and curb.
- Facilitate scheduling of jobs including labor needs, equipment requirements, external trucking, materials, and subcontractors with RDU Paving Operations Manager and Foreman.
- Communicate and Coordinate scheduling with our Customer’s Project Manager & Superintendent. (ie: Owner, General Contractor, Grading Contractor, or HOA Manager)
- Complete all required contract paper work including pay applications and change orders
