We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager on behalf of an established general contractor in the Cary/Raleigh market.

- Work closely with Superintendents and field teams to keep projects moving
- Manage project budgets, cost controls, forecasting, and financial performance
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and subcontractor scopes
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation
- Support estimating, scope reviews, budgeting, bid evaluation, and subcontractor buyout
- Lead project meetings and communicate directly with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
- Maintain accurate project information using construction management and scheduling software
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of commercial construction experience
- Project Management experience with a General Contractor
- Strong, hands-on experience building and managing construction schedules
- Experience coordinating and sequencing multiple subcontractor trades
- Working knowledge of construction scheduling software; Primavera P6 experience is a plus
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management platforms
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, scopes, budgets, and project financials
- Experience with estimating, budgeting, or preconstruction activities; full takeoff estimating expertise is not required
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Commercial renovation, remodel, tenant improvement, or similar project experience preferred
- Healthcare construction experience is a plus, but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- $90,000–$120,000 base salary, commensurate with experience
- Performance-based bonuses offered
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with company contribution
- Paid time off and holidays
- Long-term growth opportunities
- Team-oriented environment with direct access to leadership
