Now, we're looking for a Director of Product Architecture to help scale the technical backbone of our work. This is a pivotal role where you'll shape how RDI's data systems, integrations, and product roadmap evolve to meet the needs of next-generation diagnostics development.

Now, we're looking for a Director of Product Architecture to help scale the technical backbone of our work. This is a pivotal role where you'll shape how RDI's data systems, integrations, and product roadmap evolve to meet the needs of next-generation diagnostics development.
What You'll Do
- 40 % - Take charge of the architecture. Redesign our custom Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) that integrates Salesforce and Cloudbyz into a streamlined, API-driven data layer that supports Castor EDC, OCR pipelines, and Business Intelligence
- 25 % - Drive the build and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Manage a hybrid team consisting of 1 internal administrator, 3-4 offshore developers, and a UX agency, while implementing Git-based DevOps, test automation, and release management
- 20 % - Focus on integrations and data governance. Develop secure processes for managing Protected Health Information (PHI), e-sourcing, adjudication panels, and future AI functionalities; oversee HIPAA, SOX, and SOC2 compliance
- 10 % - Shape product strategy. Collaborate with Conall on the product roadmap, including features such as site-identification AI, nurse-CRA dashboards, and sponsor portals
- 5 % - Mentor and advocate. Enhance the capabilities of Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and project associates so they truly understand and embrace the data model rather than circumventing it
- We're the only pure-play IVD CRO with an in-house CLIA lab, a 2 000-site network, and an AI-powered CTMS on Salesforce
- Major clients are replacing their legacy CROs with us because we move 3× faster
- You'll be the technical owner of that platform—green-field enough to invent, stable enough to scale
What you've done
- 8 yrs Salesforce engineering—with 3 yrs as chief/lead architect on multi-cloud orgs (Sales, Service, Platform, Experience).
- Designed at least one regulated-data platform (life-sciences, fintech, or health-tech).
- Built high-volume integrations (REST / GraphQL / Mulesoft / AWS API Gateway).
- Led distributed dev teams (on-shore off-shore) and enforced CI/CD (Gearset, Copado, SFDX, or similar).
- Comfortable translating between CEOs, CRAs, and nurses—equal parts whiteboard and GxP fine print
- CTMS, EDC or eCOA experience (Veeva, Cloudbyz, Medidata, Castor, etc.)
- Salesforce Health Cloud, Einstein Analytics / CRM-Analytics, Heroku
- OCR / NLP pipelines; Gen-AI prompt engineering
- Previous stint in an early-stage CRO, diagnostics, or med-device startup
