Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Specialist (Federal Policy Compliance) to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our organization adheres to federal policies and regulations, particularly within public health, clinical research, and data management domains. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, experience with statistical software, and a solid understanding of research methodologies. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that support compliance and quality standards across various federal programs. The QA Specialist will monitor documentation, conduct audits, maintain corrective action plans, and support program leadership in maintaining a high standard of care for our Children's Shelter.
Wage: $62,000.00/yr.
Duties
- Conduct routine audits of case files, employee files, logs, reports, and other documents to ensure compliance with ORR, MDHHS, and agency requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current program policies, ORR policies, and contract requirements.
- Track, document, and report compliance findings to Program Leadership and assist with developing corrective action plans.
- Review incident reports for accuracy, completeness, and timely submission; follow up on required documentation.
- Support the preparation and coordination of internal and external monitoring visits, including ORR, state licensing, and federal field staff.
- Maintain tracking systems for audits, corrective actions, trainings, and program documentation requirements.
- Assist with developing program policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older to work directly with children and youth.
- Complete On-the-Job Training requirements.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEREQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED required;
OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Public Administration, or related field strongly preferred.
AND (Mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in OFFICE enviroment quality assurance, compliance, auditing, or a related field; experience in child welfare or ORR-funded programs preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong written documentation and analytical skills.
