This hybrid role provides dual support to the Finance Department and Human Resources Department, ensuring accurate financial processing, smooth HR operations, and strong compliance across RCS Learning Center, RCS Behavioral & Educational Consulting, and Mini-Miracles. The position manages day-to-day financial tasks (payroll prep, AP/AR, reconciliations) while also supporting core HR functions (onboarding, employee records, compliance tracking, benefits support). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, confidential, organized, and comfortable shifting between finance and HR workflows.Responsibilities include:Support accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and client billing.Perform bank reconciliations, verify receipts, and resolve discrepancies.Maintain accurate financial records, assist with budgets, reporting, and support month-end processes.Assist with payroll preparation, including entering new hires, reviewing timesheets, updating employee information, and ensuring accuracy in ADP.Coordinate new hire onboarding, including background checks, documentation collection, I-9s, and system setup.Maintain employee files, track certifications, CORI renewals, and compliance requirements.Assist with benefits administration, employee questions, and life event changes.Provide administrative support for HR policies, audits, and staff communication.Handle sensitive financial and employee information with strict confidentiality.Support both HR and Finance teams with daily operational needs across all RCS entities.Qualifications:1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll support, or HR operations.Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, and payroll systems (ADP preferred).Experience with accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping.Familiarity with onboarding, employee documentation, and maintaining HR files.Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.Experience in a school or nonprofit environment is a plus (but not required).Schedule:Full-time, Monday through Friday. Salary : $55,000 - $70,000
