What You'll Do
- Conduct site surveys and determine the ideal location for equipment installations.
- Install POTS Replacement Kits to replace old copper lines with efficient cellular solutions.
- Perform Cradlepoint W2005 installations on roofs or building exteriors for cellular failover.
- Run cables to the MDF room where routers or switches are located for seamless connectivity.
- Install Wi-Fi antennas indoors or outdoors to boost router cellular coverage.
- Collaborate with the Field Services Manager to plan and execute installations effectively.
- Check in and out with the Field Services Manager at each job site and provide progress updates.
- Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the entire installation process.
- Prepare and deliver project deliverables to RCN Technologies and customers.
- Conduct cost analysis for future installations to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive sales opportunities, leveraging your knowledge of 5G/LTE equipment to offer tailored solutions to customers and collaborating closely with the sales team.
How to Apply
Requirements
- Experience and Education: Preferred Associates or Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a relevant field.
- Technical expertise in cellular networking, local networking, Wi-Fi, POTS lines, and related technologies.
- Effective communication skills to present findings and interact with customers and sales representatives.
- Understanding of basic RF theory for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple installations and scheduling requirements.
- Ability to drive for extended periods and travel for multiple days or weeks.
- Physical capability to lift 45lbs during equipment installations.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to providing exceptional service and exceeding customer expectations.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed for installations.
- Genuine passion for technology and a strong desire to stay updated with the latest advancements.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives efficiently.
