Company Description: Our client is an industrial-scale data center construction and operations company. They allocate data center opportunities between bitcoin mining and other high performance computing services, such as AI. They continue to develop their pipeline of mission critical data centers.
Position Summary
The Program Manager is is accountable for end-to-end delivery of mission-critical data center infrastructure projects, combining construction, capital programs, multi-vendor coordination, and SLA performance. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, on budget, and aligned with operational priorities.
You will oversee complex projects, manage contracts and budgets, track SLA compliance, and serve as a central point for cross-functional coordination across engineering, construction, procurement, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Program & Project Management
- Lead and manage multiple concurrent data center infrastructure and construction programs
- Define scope, deliverables, and success metrics
- Track progress, risks, and cross-project dependencies
Vendor & Contract Management
- Own multi-vendor programs, including contracts, SOWs, and RFPs
- Ensure vendor performance meets SLA and quality expectations
- Manage amendments, renewals, and compliance obligations
Budget & Financial Oversight
- Plan and manage budgets, forecasts, and variance reporting
- Partner with Finance for accurate accruals and financial controls
SLA & Operational Performance
- Ensure infrastructure meets mission-critical SLA requirements
- Track uptime, service delivery metrics, and operational performance
Compliance & Governance
- Maintain documentation for audits, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Implement standardized PM methodologies across projects
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years managing mission-critical data center infrastructure and construction programs
- Direct experience in data center projects is required
- Experience with multi-vendor projects, contracts, and RFP processes
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting experience
- Understanding of project governance, risk management, and operational standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PgMP, or similar project/program management certification.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Procurement, Legal, and Finance teams.
