Primary Responsibilities
Key Accounts Management & Client Engagement
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned strategic accounts, acting as a trusted point of contact throughout the client lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, including utilities, EPC partners, infrastructure owners, and government-affiliated entities.
- Support account planning activities by understanding client priorities, capital programs, and operational timelines.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts and targeted new clients that align with RCM’s engineering, EPC, and infrastructure capabilities.
- Support opportunity development through coordination with internal technical teams to clarify scope, feasibility, and execution readiness.
- Contribute to prioritization of opportunities based on alignment, timing, and delivery capacity.
- Partner closely with engineering, project delivery, estimating, and operations teams to ensure client requirements are well understood and appropriately scoped.
- Facilitate alignment between client expectations and delivery realities to reduce execution risk and support successful outcomes.
- Support smooth transitions from opportunity development into active project execution.
- Act as a client advisor in technically complex environments, helping stakeholders understand dependencies, risks, and sequencing.
- Coordinate communication across internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Support issue resolution and de-escalation when scope, schedule, or technical requirements conflict.
- Monitor client investment plans, regulatory drivers, and market trends related to grid modernization, transmission and distribution, renewables, energy storage, and data center power infrastructure.
- Provide feedback to leadership on account health, opportunity pipelines, and emerging client needs.
- 10 years of experience in key accounts management and/or business development within energy-adjacent, infrastructure, telecommunications, or technically complex environments.
- Experience working with regulated or government-influenced clients, including utilities, public sector entities, or critical infrastructure operators.
- Strong ability to coordinate across engineering, delivery, and commercial teams in multi-stakeholder environments.
- Demonstrated experience supporting long-cycle opportunities and complex project environments.
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to utilities, EPC projects, grid modernization, renewables, energy storage, or data center infrastructure.
- Experience operating in international or emerging markets.
- Familiarity with CRM and project tracking tools (e.g., Salesforce, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo).
