Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for the role of Medical Biller. The Medical Biller will handle tasks such as processing medical claims, coding diagnoses and procedures, managing insurance verifications, and addressing claim denials. The professional will ensure accurate billing processes and timely submission to ensure optimal cash flow and compliance with insurance guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Terminology and a strong understanding of general medical practices
- Experience handling claim Denials and working through the appeals process
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding standards and procedures
- In-depth understanding of Insurance policies and processes, including Medicare regulations
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with medical billing software and familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with insurance companies, patients, and providers
