Summary
Position Highlights:
The MMG Clinical Biller is responsible for completing the billing services utilizing CPT and ICD-10 codes. This person will work closely with the physicians and clinic staff to ensure that all charges are captured. This person will hold the responsibility of billing the E&M outpatient and inpatient services.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Preferred – Knowledge of correct Coding Guidelines and billing experience with oncology-related services.
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Word and Excel, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Charge Capture.
- .Professional Claim Edits
- Professional Claim/Claim Rejections Edits.
- Special Projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Credentials and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- A minimum of (2) two years’ experience with medical billing including knowledge of ICD-10 codes, charge capture process improvement and compliance education.
