Duties
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure continuous production flow
- Hydraulic system knowledge to include pre-charging and bleeding accumulators, relief valve settings and pressure switch settings.
- Support equipment maintenance and operation (pumps, air compressors), HVAC equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, including proper use of PPE and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures
- Support installation and setup of new equipment, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and functionality.
- Drilling and tapping; basic machine shop work
- Welding and fabrication
- Electrical wiring, conduit installation and hardwiring trouble shooting
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve faults
- Execute mechanical and hydraulic corrective repairs, including replacing worn or faulty parts, and restoring equipment to rated performance.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency call-outs to minimize production downtime

- Able to work without close supervision and ability to multi-task.
- Requires basic reading, writing and math skills.
- Minimum 1 -2 years’ experience in one or more of the following categories: electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and welding

Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour
