Registered Nurse / RN – Corrections
Weekly Gross Pay: $1,619.24 per week
Location: Turbeville, SC; Onsite – Corrections Setting
Position Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN) working within a corrections setting, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with clinical standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements. This role supports the health and well-being of individuals within a secure environment while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care. Responsibilities
Schedule / Shift
- Shift details: Nights
- Shift length: 12.5-hour shifts
- Hours per week: 36–40
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Key Duties
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and correctional facility protocols
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, treatments, and responses to care
- Administer medications and treatments in compliance with physician orders and facility guidelines
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Education
- Required: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
Licenses & Certifications
- Required: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of South Carolina
Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in corrections or related specialty preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and remain professional during times of stress and change
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
