Job Summary We are hiring Per-diem EVS Aides to perform a variety of environmental service duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition. Pay Range Minimum $18.08 Midpoint $23.95 Maximum $29.81 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements. We hire for the following shifts: Days Per-diem (7am - 3:30pm) Rate of Pay: $21/hour Evenings Per-diem (3:15pm - 11:45pm) Rate of Pay: $22/hour $1.10/hour shift-differential = $23.10/hour Nights Per-diem (11:30pm - 7am) Rate of Pay: $22/hour $1.75/hour shift-differential = $23.75/hour The EVS Aide cleans and services building areas, removes non-medical waste and medical waste according to established procedures. Answer the call, be part of an award-winning pediatric hospital. Experience • Required: Previous customer service experience. • Preferred: Six (6) months of housekeeping with floor care experience. Education • Required: High School Diploma, GED or two additional years of experience in lieu of education. Training • Required: None required. Specialized Skills • Required: Able to operate heavy floor machines. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English effectively at a level appropriate for the safe and effective performance of the job. Attention to detail, vigilance, poise, and composure in stressful situations. Licensure • Required: None required.
