Corporate level Quality Mgr opening based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Profitable, well-established leader in product line. Company does metal fabrication, welding, blasting, painting and assembly, Multi site corporation this role will lead quality system execution across primarily three locations in Utah, Mississippi and Ohio. Travel to these sites is about 4-5 times a year. Role works with site Quality Managers, Engineering, operations and design engineering. OPEN to the Quality Management System (QMS) potential candidates have but MUST come out of a code and compliance driven manufacturing environment. That includes automotive, appliance, building materials and so forth. Role will lead and standardize the companies QMS across all sites. Own the internal audit program including planning, execution, reporting, corrective actions and management reviews. Also lead preparation for external audits, customer/vendor audits and certification reviews. Great company, long established and profitable.
