Starting pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Expected hours: Approximately 15 hours per week

About the Position
RCF Commercial Cleaning is hiring a dependable and professional Day Porter to help keep a commercial facility clean, stocked and presentable throughout the day.
Unlike an evening cleaning position, a Day Porter works while the building is occupied. You will respond to cleaning needs as they arise, maintain high-traffic areas and help create a clean, safe and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
This position is a good fit for someone who notices what needs attention, takes initiative and is comfortable working around customers and building occupants.
Commercial cleaning experience is helpful but not required. RCF provides training on the facility, cleaning procedures, safety requirements and quality expectations.
Schedule
- Days: Monday-Friday
- Approximately 15 hours per week
- Dependable attendance for the assigned daytime schedule is required
Primary Responsibilities
- Check and clean restrooms throughout the shift
- Refill toilet paper, paper towels, soap and other supplies
- Clean and maintain lobbies, entrances, breakrooms, conference rooms and common areas
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles as needed
- Clean spills and respond to unexpected cleaning needs
- Wipe high-touch surfaces, counters, tables, doors and interior glass
- Sweep, vacuum and spot-mop floors
- Keep entrances and high-traffic areas neat and presentable
- Monitor cleaning and restroom supplies and report items that need to be ordered
- Maintain cleaning equipment and storage areas
- Report safety concerns, damage or unusual facility conditions promptly
- Follow facility security, safety and cleaning procedures
- Communicate professionally with RCF supervisors, client contacts and building occupants
- Complete other cleaning-related duties as assigned

This position requires extended periods of standing and walking, as well as bending, reaching, stretching and performing repetitive cleaning tasks. The employee must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
