Creative Director (Worship Experience & Media)
Location: Pennsylvania (PA/DE Border)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Senior Pastor / Executive Leadership
Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, Sundays required; evenings, and special events as needed

We are seeking a visionary Creative Director to lead and unify our worship experience, media, and creative expression across all platforms.
Position Overview
The Creative Director provides strategic and hands-on leadership for all creative and production functions of the church. This role oversees multimedia, service production, social media, graphic design, audio/visual, and the overall worship experience—both in person and online.
The ideal candidate is a visionary leader and strong executor who can translate ministry vision into compelling, spiritually impactful experiences while building and developing creative teams and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Vision & Leadership
- Develop and implement a unified creative vision aligned with the church's mission, values, and worship culture.
- Serve as the primary steward of the church's brand, ensuring consistency across all creative outputs.
- Partner closely with the Senior Pastor and leadership team to plan worship experiences and major initiatives.
Worship Experience & Service Production
- Oversee the end-to-end worship experience for all services and special events.
- Lead service production planning, run-of-show development, and technical rehearsals.
- Ensure excellence and consistency in stage design, lighting, sound, visuals, and service flow.
Multimedia, Audio Visual & Production
- Provide oversight of video production, livestreaming, audio engineering, lighting, and AV systems.
- Ensure high-quality sound, visuals, and broadcast standards for in-person and online services.
- Support equipment planning, upgrades, and maintenance in collaboration with technical leads.
Graphic Design & Visual Communication
- Oversee graphic design for sermon series, events, print materials, digital assets, and branding.
- Ensure all visuals clearly communicate the church's message and enhance engagement.
- Review and approve creative concepts, designs, and final outputs.
Digital Media & Social Media
- Lead social media strategy, content planning, and storytelling across platforms.
- Collaborate with communications teams to create engaging digital campaigns and outreach initiatives.
- Monitor engagement metrics and adjust strategies to expand reach and impact.
Team Development & Collaboration
- Recruit, train, mentor, and empower staff and volunteer creative teams.
- Build healthy, collaborative workflows across worship, media, and production teams.
- Foster a culture of creativity, excellence, accountability, and spiritual growth.
Qualifications
Required
- 5 years of experience in creative leadership, production, media, or worship environments.
- Proven experience overseeing multidisciplinary creative teams.
- Strong understanding of worship production, audio/visual systems, and digital media.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Availability to work Sundays, holidays, and special services.
- Alignment with the church's faith, mission, and values.
Preferred
- Church or ministry leadership experience.
- Proficiency or working knowledge of tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, ProPresenter, OBS, or similar.
- Experience with livestreaming, broadcast-quality production, and social media strategy.
- Degree in Media Production, Design, Communications, or related field.
