Are you passionate about providing patient service through quality and convenient care? Iowa Dermatology Clinic (IDC) and RC Dermatology Clinic (RCD) is looking for talented individuals to join our amazing team!
IDC/RCD is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant located at our Iowa Dermatology Clinic 2nd and 3rd floors.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Answering telephones / scheduling appointments.
- Greeting patients.
- Updating and filing patient medical records.
- Insurance verification.
- Arranging for hospital admissions and laboratory services.
- Taking medical histories.
- Explaining treatment procedures to patients.
- Preparing patients for examination.
- Assisting the physician during exams.
- Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens.
- Performing basic laboratory tests.
- Preparing and administering medications as directed by a physician.
- Drawing blood.
- Removing sutures and changing dressings.
- Other duties as assigned
