RBR-Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer (level 1 or 2) to implement new JBlocks capabilities to support expanding data labeling requirements! Could it be you? Responsibilities associated with the position include: * Develop new JBlocks capabilities for expanding data-labeling needs.
- Perform both development and enhanced testing.
- Evaluate user issues and reproduce cases in development environments.
- Use Docker, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines for development.
- Performing software development within the eVo environment, including using tools such as GreyBox.
- Applying knowledge of EDH1/2, ISM, CAPCO, and CUI standards.
- Providing specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
- Reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documenting test results.
- Resolving software problem reports.
- Utilizing software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
- High proficiency in Java development.
- Java development experience.
- Understanding of unit and integration testing.
- Familiarity with PKI, REST, Linux, GitLab CI/CD, Docker.
- Level 1: Three years of related experience along with a Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to computer engineering or computer science disciplines An additional 4 years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 7 years.
- Level 2: Five years of related experience along with a Bachelor's degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to computer engineering or computer science disciplines AND 2 years of work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains. An additional 4 years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 9 years.
