Job Description
RBC Bank Georgia, N.A. is a US subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada with a passion to provide US Banking services for Canadians living, working and travelling in the United States. RBC Bank's "Cross-Border" solutions are designed to meet the unique needs and challenges Canadians face south of the border including but not limited to the ability to access and link their Canadian and US Banking accounts, perform Cross Border Transfers and leveraging their Canadian credit standing and existing banking relationships with RBC for purposes of obtaining credit/loans in the US. RBC Bank Operations is located in Raleigh, NC.
The Director of Technology Lending (Securities Based Lending) is accountable for the technology roadmap, delivery, and operational resiliency of the Bank's securities-based lending product and underlying services. This role works with RBC Wealth Management to ensure the effective servicing of the SBL product, includingorigination, collateral management, credit line monitoring, and ongoing loan servicing. The Director will work with Wealth to manage the technical product backlog, drive system availability and performance, safeguard resiliency, cybersecurity, and data integrity across theecosystem including management reporting.
This leader will collaborate closely with other technology directors across retail consumer banking products, risk, security, and operations to ensure end-to-end client servicing, risk oversight, and integration with various systems and applications are functioning as designed. The role also oversees vendor partnerships,manages data and engineering initiatives, and leads planning and execution of technology programs that advance the product's capabilities. The ideal candidate brings breadth and depth of experience in lending platforms, servicing technologies, and data management, with atrack record of driving technology solutions that support business growth while mitigating operational and market risks.
Product Technology Ownership
Manage and prioritize the technical product backlog for the SBL platform, ensuring alignment with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and client experience goal
Operational Excellence & Resiliency
Ensure high availability, resiliency, and performance of SBL servicing platforms, with proactive monitoring, incident management, and recovery planning.
Risk, Cybersecurity & Compliance
Partner with risk, cyber, and information security teams to embed security-by-design, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement effective risk controls across lending systems.
Cross-Functional Technology Leadership
Work with peer technology directors to coordinate operational support, infrastructure management, and enterprise integrations across custody, risk, and client servicing platforms.
Vendor & Partner Oversight
Manage relationships with external vendors providing lending, servicing, and data platforms, ensuring delivery performance, contract adherence, and strategic alignment.
Architecture, Data & Engineering
Partner with technology architecture, engineering, and data strategies for the SBL platform, enabling scalable integrations, robust data pipelines, and advanced analytics capabilities.
Strategic Planning & Delivery
Develop and execute technology roadmaps, oversee program delivery, and ensure successful execution of initiatives that enhance SBL servicing and digital client experiences.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $140,000-$230,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
