We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Polishing Technician/General Labor to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Operate concrete polishing equipment to achieve desired surface finishes and smoothness levels
- Perform floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to maintain optimal floor appearance and durability
- Handle cleaning tasks using appropriate chemicals and equipment for various flooring types, including carpets and hard surfaces
- Conduct routine cleaning and custodial duties such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and detailed floor care
- Manage chemical agents safely, including mixing, applying, and disposing of floor cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety standards
- Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of materials or equipment during projects or maintenance tasks
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to environmental services standards and janitorial best practices
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or environmental services is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as polishing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment including buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and chemical applicators
- Ability to handle floor cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Basic understanding of janitorial procedures and environmental health standards
