Job title: Director of Rehab (PTA/COTA)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Rehab to oversee and manage our rehabilitation department. The Director will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a team of Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to ensure the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Develop and implement rehabilitation programs to meet the needs of patients.

2. Supervise and evaluate the performance of PTAs and COTAs.

3. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients.

4. Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.

5. Collaborate with management to develop strategies for growth and improvement of the rehabilitation department.

6. Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure staff are up-to-date on best practices.

7. Serve as a liaison between the rehabilitation department and other departments within the organization.

8. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy.

2. Current license as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist.

3. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a PT or OT.

4. Previous experience in a leadership or management role preferred.

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

7. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines related to rehabilitation services.
