Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Modoc,California
Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in providing daily resident care activities at our Long-Term Care facility in Modoc, CA. As a CNA, you will be responsible for assisting with personal hygiene, restorative care, vital sign monitoring, and transferring residents with the utmost care and compassion. You will work under the direction of the Charge Nurse or DON and document care given.
Responsibilities:
Provide restorative care to residents according to established protocol
Assist with personal hygiene, vital sign monitoring, and transferring residents
Work in conjunction with other team members to build a team
Adhere to facility philosophy and general policies
Communicate appropriately and respectfully with directors, managers, and coworkers
Answer phone calls and assist the public in a professional and friendly manner
Maintain an organized set of records and deliver them immediately upon request
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School diploma preferred or equivalency exam
Current C.N.A. licensure preferred; if non-certified, must become certified within four months of hire
Current BLS level CPR certification
Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing
Dependable, reliable with good attendance and the ability to work with others
Above-average interpersonal, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills
Previous clinical experience training and experience in a nursing home/ hospital setting desirable
