Job Summary
Raycap, Inc. is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team! Based out of the Post Falls, ID. facility, the Strategic Sourcing Manager will effectively manage long-term suppliers and support our overall cost strategy.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Manage supplier identification, qualification, and onboarding processes
- Engage in contract negotiation and outline the framework for agreements; documents records, as necessary
- Identify, analyze, and implement opportunities to achieve cost reductions
- Partner with Engineering and Operations to evaluate alternative materials, suppliers, and processes
- Identify opportunities to maximize the use of product without sacrificing quality
- Monitor and evaluate supplier risk management against key performance indicators
- Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory, quality, environmental, and ESG requirements
- Coordinate supplier visits and conduct routine supplier audits against agreed upon terms and conditions
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5 years applicable supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support supplier engagement
