We’re seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our collaborative, solutions-driven team. In this role, you’ll lead the design and development of mechanical systems from concept to production, while also mentoring junior engineers and guiding cross-functional projects. Primary Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define product requirements and create design solutions.
Lead and contribute to design efforts for new and existing products.
Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for parts and assemblies (SolidWorks or Inventor preferred).
Check technical drawings for accuracy and completeness.
Build and test prototypes to validate product performance.
Conduct lab testing to meet customer and regulatory standards.
Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
Mentor junior engineers and provide feedback on their work.
Lead engineering projects and delegate tasks effectively.
Participate in design reviews and present concepts to internal stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
7 years of mechanical design experience, ideally in a production environment
Strong background in sheet metal design
Experience with electronic enclosures, cabinets, and injection-molded plastics is a plus
Familiarity with stress, thermal, and/or flow analysis preferred
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD tools
Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
