This role involves operating woodworking machinery, reading blueprints, and fabricating components used across multiple product lines. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate a variety of woodworking machines and hand toolsFabricate products based on blueprints and drawing specificationsUse equipment such as miter saws, table saws, routers, drill presses, circular saws, and hand drillsApply profiles and custom cuts to products as requiredTrim, round, deburr, file, and finish fabricated componentsDrill and modify products per technical drawingsPerform general shop duties including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining work areasFollow all safety protocols, including wearing safety glasses and using machine guardsTroubleshoot basic equipment or fabrication issuesCollaborate with team members to meet production goalsRequired Skills & QualificationsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and written instructionsStrong measuring skills, including reading a tape measureBasic math skills (fractions, decimals, whole numbers)Comfort working with power tools and machineryAbility to think critically and solve practical problemsTeam-oriented mindset with a strong work ethicEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED required3–6 months of fabrication, woodworking, or manufacturing experience preferredEquivalent combination of education and hands-on experience consideredPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and use hands throughout the shiftRegularly lift up to 25 lbsFrequently lift up to 50 lbsOccasionally lift up to 75 lbsAbility to work in a loud manufacturing environmentVision requirements include close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustmentWork EnvironmentManufacturing / shop floor environmentRegular exposure to moving machineryOccasional exposure to electrical componentsHigh noise levels (hearing protection optional but encouraged)Safety-first culture with required PPE usage
