Duties
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to ensure proper handling and safety.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately using order picker tools and inventory management software.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as AS400 or similar systems.
- Organize stock in designated storage areas through stocking, shelving, and palletizing to optimize space utilization.
- Assist with shipping logistics by preparing shipping labels, verifying trade compliance, and coordinating with carriers for timely dispatch.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and identify discrepancies promptly.
- Support warehouse operations by load & unload activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests for inventory or order status updates efficiently.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving processes, order fulfillment procedures, and trade compliance regulations.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, load & unload equipment safely with proper certification if required.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining precise records.
- Exceptional organizational skills combined with a proactive attitude toward warehouse operations and logistics coordination.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.
- Bilingual
