RWAS provides monthly accounting, sales trust accounting, HR and software solutions to Ray White business owners. We operate across the broad Australian and New Zealand Ray White network of approximately 900 business, presenting a significant opportunity for continued growth. To support this expansion, RWAS is focused on attracting and developing accountants with strong relationship-building and communication skills to provide meaningful career progression to our team.
The Role
Reporting to one of our Senior Management Accountants, the Accountant is responsible for assisting Ray White business owners to better understand and improve their financial performance and profitability. The position delivers outsourced accounting service to Ray White franchisees and works closely with the Network Finance team and other RWAS team members to provide coordinated, high-quality financial support and advice.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for a portfolio of Ray White agency clients and provided accounting solutions
Month end processes and monthly reporting
Meet with clients to discuss financial results, analysis, and other ad hoc advice as required
Payroll processes, including liaising with clients over agent commissions and bonuses
Completion of compliance processes, including balance sheet reconciliations, BAS / IAS reporting and lodgements, superannuation and payroll tax
Annual budgeting process for each client and cash flows where required
Implement Financial module in VaultRE covering agent commission calculations, deductions, and integration to Xero and Profit Pulse
The Candidate
Proactive and results oriented, we are seeking an Accountant with experience working in a professional services or commercial environment and undertaking, or intending to commence, CA or CPA studies. You will have:
Strong relationship-building skills, comfortable engaging with both internal and external stakeholders
Exceptional communication skills (written verbal) and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated experience using Xero across its full range of core functions
Solid core accounting knowledge, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders
Highly driven and enjoy working within a high performing, team based environment that likes to have fun while they work!
