Business Development Center Representative

Ray Catena Lexus is seeking an experienced, self-driven, motivated, and goal-oriented individual to join our Business Development Center (BDC) team.

Compensation: $65,000-$70,000 per year

Hourly Pay Commission | Excellent Earning Potential

We are looking for a candidate with prior automotive dealership, BDC, or internet sales experience who understands the importance of consistent follow-up, exceptional communication, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

The ideal candidate is persistent, organized, energetic, and takes pride in achieving goals and completing tasks with a high level of professionalism. You will work alongside an experienced BDC and sales team, with opportunities to further develop your skills and grow within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage incoming internet leads through the dealership's CRM system and maintain consistent, timely follow-up.
• Make outbound calls and send emails to prospective customers.
• Schedule, confirm, and follow up on customer appointments.
• Contact customers who miss appointments and work to reschedule them.
• Communicate appointment activity and customer updates with managers and sales associates.
• Manage an assigned client portfolio through consistent phone and email communication.
• Answer customer questions and coordinate with the sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer contacts and interactions within the CRM.
• Utilize CRM retention tools to maintain ongoing communication with customers.
• Keep management and sales staff informed of customer status, follow-up activity, and appointment progress.
• Follow up consistently with customers until contact has been established.
• Deliver a professional, friendly, and personalized customer experience throughout every interaction.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous automotive dealership, BDC or internet sales experience
• Previous Reynolds & Reynolds experience preferred.
• Proven success in a customer-facing or sales environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• The ability to multitask and effectively manage a high volume of customer interactions.
• A self-motivated, goal-oriented, and persistent approach to work.
• A positive, energetic, and professional attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized.
• Excellent phone and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
• Experience working with CRM systems is strongly preferred.

Schedule Requirements

Flexible availability is required. Saturday availability is a must.
