Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dallas, TX, for a Purchase Specialist. The Purchase Specialist will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, creating and overseeing purchase orders, monitoring inventory and supply needs, and working closely with vendors to secure competitive pricing and quality goods. Additional responsibilities include analyzing purchasing data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure efficient operations and timely product availability.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Purchasing Processes, Purchasing, and Purchase Management
- Proficiency in creating and managing Purchase Orders
- Solid Analytical Skills, including the ability to assess data and optimize purchasing strategies
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills with vendors and internal teams
- Experience in inventory management or logistics is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in relevant software systems for purchase management and data analysis
