Part-Time Fitness Center Front Desk Attendant

Job Description: We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Front Desk Associate to join our Performance & Longevity Department. As the first point of contact for our members and guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive environment. Responsibilities: The Front Desk Associate position is responsible for the following:

●     Greet and assist members and guests upon arrival, ensuring an exceptional first impression of the gym.

●     Manage check-ins and registration for new and existing members.

●     Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about gym services, membership options, class schedules, and more.

●     Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.

●     Handle membership transactions, process payments, and assist with billing inquiries.

●     Schedule appointments, classes, and personal training sessions for members.

●     Provide tours of the gym facilities to potential new members.

●     Monitor the gym floor to ensure safety and cleanliness, assisting members when necessary.

●     Promote gym events, special offers, and new services to enhance member engagement.

●     Assist with administrative tasks and light office work as needed.

●     Coordinate with team members to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications:

●     High school diploma or equivalent required.

●     Excellent communication and customer service skills.

●     Friendly and approachable with a positive attitude.

●     Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

●     Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

●     Basic computer skills (experience with gym management software a plus).

●     Interest or experience in fitness or health-related fields is a plus.

●     Previous customer service or front desk experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

●     Ability to stand for long periods of time.

●     Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
