Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises
- Manage access control by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies with appropriate actions including contacting law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct conflict management to de-escalate tense situations effectively
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records for accountability and review
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during emergencies
- Familiarity with surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and security equipment
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
