ob Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Security and Security Supervisor. The Security Officer performs a variety of security and safety related functions while involved in the safeguard of employees, patients, visitors and property. Provide parking enforcement and traffic control for all patients, visitors, and employees throughout hospital property. Gives appropriate assistance to all when needed or requested.

Education:
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
Experience:
- Security, law enforcement or Military (Preferred)
Licenses and Certification:
- NYS Driver’s License (Required)
- NYS Security Guard License or a Law Enforcement Certification within 90 days of hire (Required)
- Must have or obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification or equivalent within 120 days from date of hire (Required)
- Must have or obtain Basic Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) Certification (pepper spray) and Basic Handcuffing Techniques within 120 days from date of hire (Required)
