Raven Ridge is hiring an experienced Controller to lead core accounting and financial operations. This individual will oversee financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting support, internal controls, and day-to-day accounting activities while partnering with leadership across the business.

This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to contribute strategically while remaining involved in daily financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Oversee financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting operations
• Maintain internal controls and support audit readiness
• Analyze financial performance and provide operational insight to leadership
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Partner cross-functionally to improve processes and reporting efficiency
• Assist with ERP optimization and financial system enhancements
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff as needed
• Support inventory and cost accounting activities within a manufacturing environment
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Progressive accounting or finance experience, including leadership responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and general accounting principles
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Exposure to manufacturing and cost accounting environments preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
