Accounting Associate (Entry-Level)

The Accounting Associate supports the Accounting team by assisting with account reconciliations, processing financial transactions, and maintaining accurate accounting records. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop accounting skills while resolving account discrepancies, supporting receivable activities, and assisting with month-end processes in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with reconciling account statements and resolving outstanding balances.
• Support the processing and tracking of credits, returns, and other receivables.
• Help research and resolve account discrepancies.
• Enter and maintain accurate accounting data in company systems.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks as assigned.
• Support cash application activities and basic account reconciliations.
• Respond to internal and external account inquiries in a professional and timely manner, escalating complex issues when appropriate.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to meet departmental deadlines.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Previous internship, office, bookkeeping, or accounting support experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, and basic formulas.
• Experience using an ERP system is helpful but not required.
