Description
The Property Management Administrative Assistant will manage incoming traffic, onboard new acquisitions, and provide utility management.
The PM Administrative Assistant will report directly to the Director.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Customary administrative duties such as assisting with incoming calls, mail distribution, and distributing reports
- Assist in onboarding and prelisting of new acquisitions
- Assist with marketing vacancies
- Partner with the property management team to ensure smooth move in and move outs of tenants
- Utility management
- Follow all terms of Fair Housing, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the American with Disabilities Act, and any other pertinent laws
- Assist ARG team members as needed
- Update job and market knowledge on an ongoing basis
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Customer service experience, ideally in property management
- Proficient with technology utilizing Microsoft office suite
- Must be a team player, reliable, and organized
- Must be professional, energetic, and positive.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Aptitude for managing multiple daily tasks; capable of prioritizing and meeting timelines
Physical Demands
- Pushing and pulling heavy items on a regular basis
- Frequently lifting items of varying weights
- Extended periods of standing or sitting
- Periodic stooping, kneeling, and bending
- Must have manual use of hands and vision to use computer constantly
