Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. We are looking for someone who could either be full time or part time as a summer job. As a Yard Worker, you will be responsible for various duties related to offloading plant trucks, helping customers, loading customers, operating machinery , driving trucks, stocking shelves, and possibly planting trees.
Duties:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles
- Build and assemble products according to specifications
- Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers and front end loaders
- Organize and maintain inventory in the yard
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavier objects such as trees and bagged mulch/ topsoil
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, but we are willing to train anyone
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Valid driver's license is necessary and a chauffeurs license is a plus
