What You’ll Do:
- Lead the estimating and preconstruction process from initial review through final bid submission
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate cost estimates
- Build and manage takeoffs, labor projections, subcontractor pricing, and material budgets
- Collaborate with project managers, field leaders, vendors, and leadership teams to align scope, risk, and execution strategy
- Identify project risks, opportunities, and value-engineering solutions
- Support strategic bid decisions and project pursuit planning
- Assist with handoff and transition from estimating to operations teams
What You Bring:
- 5 years of experience in construction estimating, project management, preconstruction, or related construction operations
- Experience within electrical, infrastructure, commercial, industrial, utility, or related construction environments preferred
- Strong understanding of construction methods, project workflows, and cost structures
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications accurately
- Experience with estimating software, takeoff tools, and construction documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple bids and priorities simultaneously
Bonus If You Have:
- Experience with DOT, infrastructure, utility, or renewable energy projects
- Design-build or EPC project experience
- Electrical construction experience
- Previous field or project management experience
Compensation & Benefits:
- $110,000 – $140,000 base salary performance incentives (based on experience)
