Human Resources Generalist - 2nd Shift
FULL TIME | DIRECT HIRE | 2ND SHIFT
Schedule: 2nd shift | Some weekends and holidays during peak season.

About the role
A well established, nationwide company is hiring an HR Generalist for its Upstate South Carolina distribution operation. You'll handle the full employee lifecycle for your shift: benefits, leave, employee relations, performance, and engagement. Most of your day is spent out on the floor with the team, not at a desk.
What you'll do
- Run benefits administration, including open enrollment, claims, and employee communications
- Manage FMLA and other leaves of absence
- Coach managers and employees through discipline, terminations, conflict, transfers, and policy questions
- Handle investigations, performance management, and disciplinary matters
- Partner with site leadership on staffing, recruiting, and retention
- Lead policies, training, and engagement surveys
- Support safety and policy compliance, including PPE and uniform programs
- Maintain compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations and supply chain security and quality programs
- Represent the site in the local community
What you'll need
- 5 years of HR experience, ideally in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution setting. Bachelor's preferred, or an equivalent mix of education and experience
- SHRM or PHR certification preferred
- Strong HRIS skills and solid proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Comfortable staying organized under deadline in a fast moving operation
- Good judgment, integrity, and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license, with eligibility for coverage under company insurance
