Responsibilities
- Open, manage and close residential and/or commercial escrow transactions from receipt of contract through recording of documents and disbursement of funds.
- Review purchase contracts, lender instructions, HOA documents and title commitments to identify requirements and conditions.
- Coordinate with title examiners, underwriters and lenders to clear title issues and satisfy closing conditions.
- Prepare Closing Disclosures (CD), HUD-1 Settlement Statements and all required closing documents in accordance with TRID/RESPA guidelines and underwriting conditions.
- Conduct closings in person, via mobile notary or remotely using RON (Remote Online Notarization) platforms as authorized by Texas law.
- Maintain escrow trust accounts in strict compliance with Texas Finance Code, Texas Insurance Code and TDI requirements.
- Receive, verify and disburse escrow funds accurately and timely, including wires, checks and ACH transactions.
- Adhere to all CFPB, FinCEN and anti-money laundering (AML) policies and procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all parties throughout the escrow process.
- Proactively communicate closing status, outstanding requirements and funding timelines.
- Respond to inquiries from buyers, sellers, agents and lenders in a professional and timely manner.
- Resolve closing-related issues and escalate complex matters to management as needed.
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
