Hotel Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Hotel Manager to help ensure an exceptional guest experience at the Historic St. Elmo Hotel and Tavern in beautiful Ouray, Colorado. As one of the Hotel Managers, you will help oversee daily or nightly operations, manage staff, and uphold the highest standards of customer service. Your leadership will drive revenue growth, optimize hotel performance, and foster a welcoming environment for guests and our staff alike. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the guest journey while maintaining efficient hotel management practices across all departments.

Duties

• Oversee guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a memorable stay for all visitors
• Manage hotel revenue through occupancy management, and budgeting to maximize profitability
• Oversee front desk operations including multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and night audit procedures to ensure seamless guest interactions
• Monitor hotel facilities for maintenance needs and safety compliance to provide a secure environment for guests
• Proven guest experience in a hospitality setting
• Extensive knowledge of hospitality management practices including guest services
• Experience with hotel operations such as front desk management, night audit procedures, and resort amenities is preferred
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
• Familiarity with multi-line phone systems, guest relations protocols, and hospitality software solutions
• Maintaining high standards of hospitality excellence at all times
• Assist in Tavern as needed

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
